birmingham alive!, recommended by the bbc & featured in a number of university of birmingham prosepectuses, is the city's leading online events & gig guide; providing the broadest spectrum of events for the city. on birmingham alive!, almost all of the events are a bus ride away from your home.

users come to birmingham alive! first in order to find out what's on in the city - we have excellent search engine ranking; on google (the benchmark for other search engines) a search for almost anything along the lines of what's on in birmingham or birmingham concerts if it does not show us at the top of the list shows us in at least the top ten, & usually the top five. birmingham alive! receives roughly 1,300 unique visitors per week (roughly one every five minutes), 98% of whom have come as a direct result of searching to find out what's on in birmingham. in 2007 we received a total of 67,443 visitors (average 5,620 per month / 1,297 per week), & in october 2008 we received 5,556 unique visitors to the website (excluding rss feeds).
