  • Birmingham bomb scare ‘was a hoax’

    A suspicious package which ground part of Birmingham city centre to a halt for five hours as roads were closed and trains suspended is believed to have been a ‘malicious hoax’ police have said.
  • Plans for Irish Quarter collapse
    Irish Post
    AIB has appointed administrators to an Irish-owned company which had been planning a £150million development in the Irish Quarter of Birmingham. Connaught Square Ltd, a subsidiary of Irish developer Naus Group, collapsed after its bankfunding dried up.
  • Charity bike ride man “devastated” after his bike was stolen from a Ladywood car park
