Microsoft wants the public to start using its search engine, and look at it with a little more serial eyes, and I’m obviously talking about Bing. This is why the software giant has decided to announce a “new” name and a new logo dedicated to its search engine.
So the first change is that the search engine now changes its name to Microsoft Bing. It wasn’t a big change, but the presence of the word “Microsoft” is a way for the general public to find out who owns the search engine, and it gives them a little more confidence in the use. It’s also a way to connect to other products in terms of name (e.g. Windows Store became Microsoft Store and Office 365 became Microsoft 365). Microsoft simply specifies that this name change reflects a unification of its ecosystem.

Microsoft also presented a logo dedicated to its service. When you open a tab with Bing, a new icon appears in the address bar. The same new icon also appears in the browser’s mobile application and in the official Twitter search engine account.
This is not the first time that Microsoft has tested the logo change. Several tests have taken place in recent months and Microsoft seems to have decided on the final design.
