As we already suspected, Electronic Arts recently announced the new Need for Speed Hot Pursuit Remastered, a game that will be released on November 6 on PlayStation 4, PC, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
The company announced that the game has been discontinued by Stellar Entertainment, the studio behind Burnout Paradise Remastered, and features all major DLC from the original version and multiplayer, as well as cross-platform support.
The game was the first Need for Speed to feature Autolog, the social interaction system that connects friends in individual races and compares player stats.
Need for Speed Hot Pursuit Remastered Coming November 6
Electronic Arts announced that last February it handed the development tasks for Need for Speed to Criterion Games, as it planned to restructure Ghost Games, which was developing the last four entries in the racing series.
And at the EA Play event in June, the publisher gave us a first look at some of its projects in development for next-gen consoles, including Need for Speed, which it says will offer “a perfect immersion that puts us in the race in seconds ”.
