Google extends Chrome support to Windows 7

“Chrome is extending its support for Windows 7 at least until January 15, 2022. This is a 6-month extension from the previously reported date of July 15, 2021,” Google said in its press release.

To explain this decision, Google highlights the data collected by Kantar, a famous analysis company. As shown in the graph above, 21% of companies with a PC fleet running Windows 7 are still migrating to Windows 10.
