If you are a Nintendo Swich gamer, you will be happy with this news. The Control Ultimate Edition and Hitman 3 games are coming to the Nintendo console, but unlike other games, they will be available through the cloud. This is because the switch does not have enough power to run these two games locally.
The controller is now available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The Switch version includes the base game and the first two expansions, The Foundation and AWE. It also includes expedition mode, photo mode and all the updates that have appeared since the release of the original game. Control Ultimate Edition – Cloud Version is now available for Switch.
Hitman 3 and Control Ultimate Edition announced for Nintendo Switch
Then there’s Hitman 3. And like Control, it’s a cloud game. It will be released on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S and Stadia on January 20, 2021. It is not yet known if this will be the same day that the Switch version is released.
This isn’t the first time cloud games have arrived on the Nintendo Switch. There have been a few tests already in Japan, with Phantasy Star Online 2, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, and Resident Evil 7. And it looks like those tests went well, since the technology is available to all players on the Switch.
The announcement of these 2 games took place during a Nintendo Direct Mini. It was also an opportunity to have news on Hyrule Warriors: Age of the Flourge. A demo of this sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is now available for free on Nintendo eShop.
Nintendo has also shown content for Immortals Fenyx Rising, Bravely Default II, and Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town. Additionally, the video shows part-time UFO, Surviving the Aftermath, Tropico 6, Bakugan: Champions of Vestroia, and Griftlands.
Hitman 3 and Control content coming (surprisingly) to the Nintendo Switch appears first in News & Technology.
