During this month of October, the Hollywood Channel pays homage to the extraordinary saga “Transformers”, one of the most popular of all time, based on the animated series of the 80s about beings of a planet distant that transform into automobiles and other devices, showing a special consisting of four films, to be watched every Sunday of this month, and starting today, October 4 at 10 p.m.
“Transformers”, the first film of the saga released in 2007, launches this special programming, at 10 p.m., bringing the conflict between Autobots and Decepticons back to Earth, while supporting the search for the AllSpark cube, which generated life on the planet of robots, Cybertron. While the Autobots want to use the cube to save the planet, the Decepticons want to use it to create an army of machines on Earth and exterminate humans.
“Transformers – Retaliation” hits the channel on October 11 at 10 p.m. to continue this saga about giant beings from a distant planet who feel compelled to hide their true identities in the form of cars, planes and cars. ‘countless other devices on planet Earth. Trapped in a battle for a hidden power source on our planet, the peaceful Autobots battle the cruel Decepticons, determined to dominate the Universe, drawing on their superior technology. High school students Sam and Mikaela are instrumental in the unfolding of the story because, subconsciously, they hold the key to the power source, so coveted by Transformers.

Sunday, October 18, at 10 p.m., the Hollywood Channel presents “Transformers 3”, the third film which marks the return of veteran Michael Bay (“The Rock”, “Armageddon”, “Pearl Harbor”), with Steven Spielberg as producer -executive, using the latest 3D technology. This time the war is on such a scale that even the cutting edge technology of the Transformers, led by Optimus Prime, cannot be enough to fight it. That’s when NASA reveals something that could change the course of events: The discovery 40 years ago of a cybertronic spacecraft crashed in lunar territory. Thus, the super-robots and Sam Witwicky, his friend and combat partner, will attempt to join the abandoned ship and, in a ray of hope, acquire the necessary technology to strengthen itself.
The cycle ends on October 25, at 10 p.m., with “Transformers: Age of Extinction”, the fourth chapter of this action-packed sci-fi saga and special effects, directed by Michael Bay, with Steven Spielberg as executive producer.
