As expected, the Chinese manufacturer Huawei announced a few moments ago the equipment of its new Mate40 series, which is composed (mainly) of three devices, the one that gives its name to the series, the Mate40 Pro and Mate40 Pro +. However, what interests us are the last two, the Pro models, since they will be sold in Europe.
It is the first piece of equipment from the company to feature the latest Kirin 9000 manufactured using the 5nm process, which promises high performance and high power efficiency, in addition to the usual support of 5G networks.
What’s also usual is the lack of Google services, which have been replaced by the company’s own service, AppGallery, which the company claims to be the third-largest app store in the market, just behind the Google Play Store. and application. Apple Store.
In terms of hardware, we have the best the market has to offer. The smartphone has a sensor with a five times periscope zoom and a seven times higher optical zoom range thanks to the telephoto lens. In addition, they wanted to improve the image quality in low light conditions.
Another note to note is the fact that the screen cutout (for the front sensors) has shrunk slightly compared to the P40 Pro, despite having two sensors.
Let’s move on to the specifications of the new Huawei Mate40 Pro
In addition to the Kirin 9000 that we revealed above, the new smartphone has 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage, which can be expanded using an NM card. Its screen is actually a 90Hz AMOLED panel with 6.76 inches and FullHD + resolution with 2772×1344 pixels.
As for its photographic sensors, it has three sensors on the back in which the main one has 50MP and is a wide angle sensor with f / 1.9 aperture, which is accompanied by an ultra wide angle sensor with 20MP and f aperture. / 1.8 and a 12MP telephoto lens which has an f / 3.4 aperture and OIS. On the front we have a 12MP sensor which is a wide angle sensor with an aperture of f / 1.9 and a depth sensor.
Its battery is 4400mAh and supports fast charging with 66W wire and 50W wireless charging.
Another highlight is that it is the first equipment from the company to arrive with the EMUI 11, to have IP68 certification.
In terms of price, this Huawei Mate 40 Pro will already appear in Portugal during the next month of November with the colors Black and Mystic Silver with a PVP of 1199 euros.
So what about the Mate40 Pro +?
It is very similar to the previously revealed equipment, but it has two telephoto lenses, a 3x zoom and a 10x zoom, promising an optical zoom range of up to 17x. To do this, it has 4 photo sensors on the back, instead of 3.
Then this gear also has a different finish, and like with the P40 Pro +, it will come with a ceramic finish. The memory it has is no less important, because this model has 12 GB of RAM (against 8 GB of Mate40 Pro).
In addition, its price is also different, since it will sell for 1399 euros.
