And unfortunately that’s the topic of today, from 21 apps in the Google Play Store, which are actually malware hidden in apps. Worse yet, at the time of writing, 19 of the 21 apps were still in the Google store.
But here is the list of Android apps that are infected, which was recently discovered by the folks at Avast.

The applications listed above are infected with adware causing them to display a large number of advertisements and trick the user into downloading the adware, masquerading as a reliable application.
Moreover, it has been revealed that these infected Android apps have been downloaded around 8 million times. This figure is based on information provided by SensorTower, a marketing intelligence and mobile application analysis company.
