LG and César Mourão together in the LG InstaView Door-in-Door campaign

How many times do we open the refrigerator without knowing what we want? How many times do we change our minds when the door is open … with the food losing its freshness and wasting energy? This is the motto of the new LG campaign, which has the help of César Mourão to present the new LG InstaView Door-in-Door.

“Do you always know what you want?” This is the question that starts the videos which explore four different types of indecisive when choosing their food, snacks or refrigerator meals: the Father, who does not know what to do for the children’s dinner; Pregnant, who woke up in the middle of the night with a mouse; Fit, looking for a post workout snack; and Guloso, who was assaulted by that late afternoon hunger.

What all indecisive people have in common is the voice of their conscience, which in a playful and not always totally effective and healthy way will try to guide you between the different food options in your refrigerator. This talking cricket is of course César Mourão, who assumes the difficult role of maneuvering, from the cerebral control panel, these hesitant characters in front of the open refrigerator.

Obviously, the biggest help in this doubtful moment is the LG InstaView Door-in-Door, which lets you see inside without needing to open the door thanks to LG’s exclusive technology. To do this, just give two quick touches on the sleek mirrored front glass panel that will light up, so you can see inside, reducing cold air loss by 41% and keeping always fresh food.

The campaign, developed and produced by RUA Comunicação and Souza Filmes, consists of four one-minute videos, intended for LG Portugal’s Youtube channel, and its short 15-second versions for publication on Facebook and branded Instagram.

However, it will be on the page, exclusive to this project, that LG Portugal and César Mourão will challenge the Portuguese to share their doubts and hesitations in front of the refrigerator as well. The mechanics of the “Tell us your biggest indecision” contest is simple and invites everyone to reveal their indecision until January 15, 2021, with the 10 best descriptions winning a prize of € 300.

“And you? Do you always know what you want? is the question of many undecided and LG and César Mourão think they know the answer: “Who does not know what he wants, wants an LG InstaView!”
