Microsoft hosts event to show games optimized for Xbox Series S

Microsoft will detail and show off its games which will be optimized for its new consoles, the Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X. And that will happen at an online event to be held later this month.

After first impressions of the Xbox Series X, several media outlets and YouTubers have shown backward compatible games running on Microsoft’s next-gen console. These games, however, run on the console right out of the box, without any additional optimization.

As noted, several backward compatible games including games from the original Xbox, even the current Xbox One, will benefit from improved quality and performance. Xbox Series S and X apply Auto HDR to older games, giving them vivid colors, brightness, and contrast.
