Yesterday we revealed here that Microsoft has started to offer a new version of its operating system, Windows 10 20H2, or simply Windows 10 October 2020. As always, the company unveils the list of known issues with its operating system .
The good news? There are no surprises, and the list of known issues is exactly the same as the list of issues for the previous version, Windows 10 2004. But here is the list of issues:
Errors or problems during or after updating devices with certain Conexant audio drivers. Devices with affected Conexant or Synaptics audio drivers may receive an error with a blue screen. Errors or problems during or after updating devices with Conexant ISST audio drivers. Devices with affected Conexant ISST audio drivers may receive an error or experience issues with Windows 10, version 20H2.
There is no news in the list of known issues for Windows 10 20H2
It is not surprising to see that this list is nothing new, since Windows 10 20H2 has the same bits as version 2004. It only has an activation package that increases the build number and activates some features. All new released features have been hidden in your system for months.
Another important fact is that Microsoft has updated its list of features that have been discontinued or removed. Fortunately, nothing is obsolete in version 20H2, but the metadata for the MBAE service has been removed. Obviously, this is a very small update, so the changes weren’t that big.
In short, there are no surprises in Windows 10 20H2, and there is no reason why you shouldn’t update your device.
