Microsoft will implement a new way to free up resources in Windows 10

Microsoft’s operating system Windows 10 is preparing to receive a new way to complete processes without having to open the task manager. Is Microsoft preparing a simplified version of this same manager that will allow users to terminate processes, or programs, that are consuming resources on the device, be it RAM or CPU.

Microsoft is preparing a feature called Quick Terminate, which will allow users to terminate the program process using a dedicated window or keyboard shortcut. In other words, the user will soon be able to access a special menu, or use a keyboard shortcut, to select the “finish” option to complete the process in question. This feature, if implemented, will end the process immediately, without waiting for the user to give further commands.

It will be similar to what we have in the task manager, or open source tools in terms of core functionality, but it would be easily accessible and easy to understand for users not so used to these situations. Plus, you don’t have to go through the long list of running processes to close a specific app.

As WindowsLatest staff reveal, this feature will arrive in one of the two major updates for Windows 10 to arrive in the year 2021.
