About a year ago, Mediatek announced its Dimensity series processors, and with them the company gained new prominence, as in addition to supporting 5G networks, these new processors have decent performance. However, a new Chipset appears to be made by the company, which although unknown at the moment we do know it has the MT689X model.
As revealed, this Mediatek MT689X is a chip registered in the 6nm process and has the same specs as Samsung’s new SOC, the Exynos 1080, which will be announced on November 12. In addition, it is equipped with the Mali-G77 GPU.
Also according to the revelations, this SOC from Mediatek went through the benchmark platform Antutu and got a score of around 600 thousand points, which despite being a mid-range processor, seems to have performance similar to those of a 2020 top range.

As this MT689X is due to arrive with the same architecture as the Exynos 1080 and manages to score around 600K points in AnTuTu, it is likely to offer slightly higher performance than the Snapdragon 865, and slightly lower than the Snapdragon 865+, however, it will arrive. to equip equipment that will reach the market for values of around € 300, so we are looking for something really promising.
There is currently no information on when MediaTek will announce this new processor.
