Netflix has unveiled the latest trailer for the highly anticipated Paranormal series. This is the first original Arabic Netflix series, from Egypt, based on the novel and thriller series of the same name by the late Ahmed Khaled Tawfik. The series will premiere on November 5, 2020.
Refaat Ismail’s Journey of Doubt will be presented in a series of six episodes, each centered on one of the famous urban legends from the books “Paran Now”. Each episode is a stand-alone story, but all are linked by a common and recurring element in the first season: The Khadrawy House.
“Paranormal” will be released in 190 countries around the world and will be available in more than 32 languages. It will also be dubbed in 9 different languages, including: English, Spanish, French, Turkish, German, etc. “Paranormal” will also be the first original Egyptian series that will feature written and audio descriptions for people with disabilities.

Refaat Ismail, a cynical hematologist with a dark sense of humor, goes on a “journey of doubt” as his world is turned upside down after his lifelong scientific beliefs are challenged. The plot begins in 1969, when Refaat Ismail turns 40 and begins to experiment with paranormal activities.
Throughout the season, Refaat is accompanied by his college colleague, Maggie, as they enter the paranormal world and attempt to save their loved ones from the immense danger that surrounds them.
