Nintendo relaunches Game & Watch with a 40-year-old console

In 1980, Nintendo launched Game & Watch in Japan, which was the first portable console created by the company. Now anyone can have a piece of history in their hands with something new to the series: Game & Watch: Super Mario Bros.

This “new console” reproduces the classic games of Super Mario Bros., Super Mario Bros .: The Lost Levels (released in Japan as Super Mario Bros. 2) and a special version of Ball … with a special twist of Super Mario! It now has more precise controls thanks to the directional button on the console.

A novelty that will be of interest to both veterans and newbies is the Infinite Mario mode. Start Super Mario Bros. or Super Mario Bros .: Levels lost by pressing the A button activates this mode, which allows players to experience the most difficult levels without having to worry about a possible GAME OVER. Players can exit Infinite Mario mode by pressing the PAUSE / SET button, to open the menu and selecting RESET GAME.
