PUBG will run at 60 fps on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X

Great news for fans of Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds, better known as PUBG, as its developers today revealed that the game will be available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S | X, the day it was launched.

But the good news is far from here, as the game for the Xbox Series X will benefit from the compilation of the game for the Xbox One X, that is, it will be able to run at 60fps, as long as the user selects the Frame rate priority option. However, the bad news is coming to those who have bought or are planning to buy the Xbox Series S, because on this console the frame rate will be limited to 30 fps.

On PlayStation 5, the situation is somewhat similar, and as long as players select the Framerate Priority option, the console will run the game at 60 fps.

Framerate Priority will let you play PUBG at 60 fps on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X

For those of you who don’t know, this mode, at PUBG, was revealed last week, and it’s a mode that will be coming to the game with Update 9.1. This will increase the frame rate limit to 60 fps and set the resolution to 1080p on Xbox One X and PlayStation 4 Pro.

The Framerate Priority configuration has some interesting changes this time around. The image limit has been increased to 60 FPS and the screen resolution will be set to 1920 x 1080 to increase the frame rate. The new Framerate Priority is available on Xbox One X and PlayStation 4 Pro, and we’re investigating ways to bring the high frame limit to other console devices. Stay tuned.

PUBG is now available for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, and a mobile version is also available for iOS and Android.

Considering the gaming compatibility of the current consoles, it will also be possible to play on the new consoles from Sony and Microsoft.
