TCL announced yesterday a new low-cost tablet, but with very interesting technical specifications. Known only as the TCL Tab, which unfortunately appears to be exclusive to North American operator Verizon.
We are talking about a tablet with an 8-inch screen with FullHD + resolution. Inside we have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665, with its Octa-core processor that runs at maximum 2.0 GHz, and which comes with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage. This storage can be extended using a MicroSD card up to 256 GB. In this same slot where you take the MicroSD card, you can place a 4G / LTE card, which gives you full autonomy, and with network access, even when you don’t have a Wi-Fi connection nearby.
Its battery has 5500mAh, which TCL promises to last up to 17 hours with moderate use.
TCL Tab is a Verizon exclusive
“There has been a huge increase in demand for affordable tablets that can support learning and work from home initiatives, while keeping the whole family entertained and connected,” said Eric Anderson, senior vice president, TCL Communication, North America. “With the TCL TAB, we are making a commitment to Verizon to create an Android tablet that will provide families with the network and tools they need for a fun and productive mobile experience.”
The tablet is already sold by the operator in Suede Black for $ 199.99.
