After revealing its strategy with Apple Silicon at WWDC 2020, the first Macs to use an ARM processor are expected very soon, and will likely be announced at the next event, One More Thing, which will be held on November 10, and which we had already done here.
Bloomberg now thinks it knows what Apple will announce at the same event and plans to formalize no less than three MacBooks with SoC ARM:
13-inch MacBook Pro 13-inch MacBook Air 16-inch MacBook Pro
3 MacBook with Apple Silicon will be presented on November 10
As they are revealing, the general design of the equipment must be very close to the current models, but the performances, and especially the autonomy, must take advantage of the new ARM platform.
Responsibility for assembling the first two models rests with Foxconn, while the 16-inch MacBook Pro will be assembled by Quanta Computer.
Bloomberg also confirms the readiness of an iMac, and a Mac Pro, in the ARM version, but they are not yet seen at the conference on November 10. The ARM version of the Mac Pro would see its dimensions halved compared to the current version.
The new MacBook Pro and Air are expected to arrive with the new macOS Big Sur, which will transition and allow them to use the iOS and iPad OS apps as well.
