In September 2019, Google launched its Play Pass service, a subscription service, which costs € 4.99 per month, or € 29.99 per year, and has over 500 apps and games for smartphones. And of course, these games and apps don’t include any ads. However, at the time, the service in question was launched in a very limited number of countries.
Until now, the service has only been available in the US, France, Spain, Germany, Ireland, UK, Italy, Australia and New Zealand. Now, the search giant has extended its availability and the Play Pass reaches 24 additional countries in Europe, including Portugal.
Without going into details, Google revealed that the service is now reaching Belgium, the Netherlands, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Portugal or even Romania. What to popularize a little more an accessible service for which Google should advertise a little more.
Google Play Pass is now available in Portugal
Strangely, the announcement of its availability was made on the social network Twitter, and the Tweet with its announcement was deleted a few minutes after it was posted. However, by opening the Google Play app on my smartphone, I already have the active Play Pass tab available.
